A Guest at the German Brewers' Day and the Political Breakfast of the Forum Bier

Exchange at the German Brewers' Day and the Political Breakfast of the Forum Bier

On 25 and 26 June 2026, Jörg Schulte was a guest in Berlin at the German Brewers' Day (Deutscher Brauertag) and the Political Breakfast of the Forum Bier. SBP Schulte Berater + Planer has been a member of the Forum Bier of the German Brewers' Association (Deutscher Brauerbund) for several years, actively supporting this representation of the brewing industry's interests.

The German Brewers' Day brought together around 400 representatives from the brewing industry, politics, science, and associations, offering a valuable platform for exchanging views on the sector's current challenges and future topics. The focus was on the importance of the brewing craft, the economic strength of medium-sized breweries, and topics such as sustainability, the development of young talent, and the future of German beer culture. In addition, outstanding individuals and companies were honoured for their achievements.

At the Political Breakfast of the Forum Bier the following morning, the focus was on direct dialogue between the brewing industry and political decision-makers. In a personal setting, the sector's current political and economic framework conditions were discussed – from cutting red tape and energy policy to competitiveness and the challenges facing medium-sized enterprises. The exchange provided valuable insights into political developments and underlined the importance of close dialogue between business and politics.

For us, events like these are an important opportunity to address current industry topics at an early stage, maintain our network, and actively represent our clients' interests in the exchange within the German brewing industry.
