Locations - Fresh Start Bakeries (FSB) invests in Poland

Fresh Start Bakeries is one of the largest global suppliers of bakery products for the foodservice and consumer markets, with production facilities in eleven countries across five continents. The company is a subsidiary of Aryzta AG, an internationally active Swiss frozen and convenience bakery company. Key success factors include excellent product quality and comprehensive service.

A new site is being established in Poland to expand production capacity. State-of-the-art technology and sophisticated processes ensure highly efficient production of baked goods in the B2B sector.

Our Challenge - New location with expanded production capacity

An international project team from FSB had 15 months to realize the specification, installation, and start-up of a bakery production facility. This greenfield project presented special challenges:

  • Developing the site and constructing an industrial building with frozen storage
  • Defining a layout to create optimal process conditions
  • Conducting tenders and purchasing
  • Project management and investment control

SBP was tasked by FSB to handle technical procurement, supplier management, and provide support for overall coordination.
