CITTI and JOMO are part of CHEFS CULINAR Nord GmbH & Co. KG, the largest wholesale distributor in Germany, operating eight warehouses nationwide. The group offers a comprehensive range of over 25,000 food and non-food products and serves large-scale consumers and the gastronomy sector through its delivery wholesale network.

In specialized areas such as wine and fish, in addition to the sales representatives, specialized advisors are available to help customers make informed purchasing decisions. High turnover rates, optimized logistics, and a modern fleet ensure maximum freshness and quick availability of goods.

With a range of around 3,500 food and non-food products, Kreyenhop & Kluge offers an authentic experience of distant cultures, including globally renowned brands and new developments created in collaboration with partners.

Our Challenge - Increase Productivity and Reduce Errors

Studies analyzing the productivity of pickers in all eight warehouses revealed that productivity was often significantly below the industry average. In such a situation, introducing a picking bonus can provide quick and lasting productivity improvements while also reducing errors.

Our Solution - Measure Productivity, Track Picking Errors, Distribute Bonuses

CITTI and JOMO, in collaboration with Schulte Berater & Planer, decided to implement a performance-based bonus system with a method that incorporates the error component

Productivity is compared with the baseline performance determined in the studies. Above-average performance is rewarded with a bonus
The bonus or penalty is distributed along with the performance premiumer Bonus
Key products are repositioned near the production or loading areas for faster access
